Just a 30-minute drive from the McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip is the master planned community of Aliante.
Aliante, which started in early 2000, is the first master planned community in North Las Vegas. It has the Sheep Mountains as its backdrop.
Out of the 1,905 acres land area of Aliante, 1,165 acres of which has been set aside to accommodate 7,000 Aliante homes. Twenty-two percent of Aliante’s land area or 428 acres has been set aside to serve the recreational needs of those living at the master planned community. Aliante’s recreational facilities include parks which feature a man-made lake, waterfalls, water play area and an interactive dinosaur discovery area. Other recreational amenities include a 24 miles jogging and walking trail, tennis courts, soccer fields and basketball courts. Aliante also has an impressive 7,022-yard golf course. In 2005, the golf course at Aliante Golf Club was chosen as the best new golf course.
The North Las Vegas Library, an amphitheater, elementary and middle school sites, restaurants, supermarkets, hotel complex and a gaming resort are also set to be built at Aliante.
The Club and Sun City, two of the neighborhoods at Aliante real estate, encircle the golf course. Most homes in these two neighborhoods have excellent views in both the golf course and the picturesque Sheep Mountains. The Club neighborhood at Aliante is guard-gated and with single and two story homes priced beginning at $500,000. Comprised of single story homes priced close to $250,000 is the Sun City neighborhood–a Del Webb Active Adult Community.
